DESCRIPTION:The International Society for Intelligent Construction Conferences (ISIC) will hold the 5th ISIC International Conference at Harbin Institute of Technology in Harbin\, Heilongjiang\, China\, from September 12th to 14th\, 2026. This is a part of the year-long celebration of the 50th anniversary of Intelligent Compaction (IC) technologies. Please also check out the series of 50th IC articles on the ISIC website (www.IS-IC.org). \nWith the rapid advancement of intelligent technologies across various industries\, humanity is entering the early stage of the intelligent era. The boundaries between disciplines and sectors are gradually being broken\, and the understanding that fundamental principles transcend professional divisions is becoming widely recognized. As essential infrastructure for human society\, infrastructure systems are becoming increasingly integrated with intelligent technologies. To promote the development of intelligent infrastructure technologies and to enhance interdisciplinary and cross-industry integration\, communication\, and collaboration\, the International Society for Intelligent Construction (ISIC) has successfully conducted four International Society for Intelligent Construction Conferences in the United States\, China\, and Europe. This upcoming one is the fifth ISIC international conference (ISIC 2026).  \n1. Conference Dates\nSeptember 12th to 14th\, 2026 \n2. Conference Venue\nHarbin Institute of Technology\, Harbin\, Heilongjiang\, China \n3. Conference Theme and Presentations\nThe theme of this conference (ISIC 2026) is ‘Interdisciplinary and Integration’. Focusing on the automation of infrastructure construction as its main thread\, the conference aims to share and exchange the latest developments and future research directions in intelligent infrastructure construction and education across different countries. It also seeks to integrate resources from relevant disciplines and professional fields\, establish a cross-disciplinary and cross-industry communication platform\, promote the integrated development of infrastructure construction with related fields such as construction machinery and information technology\, and advance technological innovation\, technological upgrading\, and practical implementation within related industries. \nThe conference will consist of several sections\, including keynote speeches\, thematic presentations\, exhibitions\, and forums. These sessions will cover new technologies\, new products\, new equipment\, and engineering applications in related fields\, such as civil engineering\, construction machinery\, information and inspection technologies\, and artificial intelligence.
